Description Leandro Regueiro 2011-05-30 13:40:23 UTC
Totem slows down and freezes sometimes when watching MKV videos with uncomplete SRT subtitles (some entries have begin and end times but no text to show).

I tried editing the SRT files using Gaupol to delete this blank entries and it improves a little the video rendering (almost never freezes but the totem still goes slow). When jumping in the video forward or backward Totem behaves even worse.

Maybe this is not totally problem of the subtitles because these MKV files I tried don't show very good in Totem anyway when you have the subtitles switched off, but maybe showed a problem that is not so easy to see.
