I am guessing you mean the GNOME panel here.
The only message (besides the stack dump and traceback) is the indicating that "panel" crashed -- so I assume it is the Gnome panel.
Please try the latest gnome-libs and gnome-core packages available from http://download.gnome.org/ These have fixes for many crashes and other bugs in both packages. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 59500 ***
