Description Jeremy Bicha 2011-05-19 14:30:43 UTC
gnome-js-common has not been updated in over a year. It looks to me like gjs includes the files that gnome-js-common used to include. Seed is the only thing on my Ubuntu system depending on gnome-js-common. I recommend you look at replacing the gnome-js-common dependency with gjs.

No, it would make no sense for Seed to depend on GJS, as they are alternative implementations of the same thing...

gnome-js-common hasn't been touched in forever, but it still works fine; nothing really needs updating. The plan was for both GJS and Seed to depend on it so as to abstract out these "common" bits as well as tests ensuring compatiiliry between the two, but GJS never adopted it.
