Description Jens Finkhäuser 2011-05-16 11:03:35 UTC
First, the version I'm using is 2.34.0, but that doesn't appear to be listed. This is on Ubuntu 11.04.

It's really annoying that the text field you enter your messages into grows horizontally as you type more than fits into the field, growing the window as it does so. I'd expect the field to either scroll horizontally, or grow vertically, displaying multiple lines, with the latter strongly preferred by me.

Thanks for your report; this is actually a GTK+ bug, already reported as bug 587441.
