Description Xavier Claessens 2011-04-18 20:40:42 UTC
When nautilus is not used to render the desktop, I think typing could automatically switch to overview and start searching. A bit like taping on my N900's desktop starts searching in my addressbook.

It's an interesting idea, but I don't think that a spontaneous transition to the overview is desirable here. It could be pretty confusing to a new user if they press a key and end up in a different mode.

This bug doesn't seem to be attracting any attention. I hope you don't mind if I close it. (You can still bring up your idea with the other designers if you want to pursue it, of course.)
