Nautilus seems to be the only part of GNOME 3 where the gtk-clear icon is used on the right side of a text entry widget (= location entry). It would be nicer if you would use the same as used in the new control center shell for example.

I believe that the control-center shell is using the -symbolic versions of these icons.

I presume this is in reference to Nautilus's location bar. Yes, this should use edit-clear-symbolic.
