Description John McCabe-Dansted 2011-04-08 10:45:42 UTC
To reproduce:
1) Open a GTK app (e.g. gedit, gnumeric or abiword)
2) Open the Print dialog box
3) Click on a printer (e.g. Print to File)
4) Press a letter like X to pop up a text box to the bottom right of the printer list

I then get
  Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_printer_is_accepting_jobs: assertion `GTK_IS_PRINTER (printer)' failed
in the terminal.

I would expect bug-free software not to emit "CRITICAL" warnings, so either gtk is emitting bogus warnings or the Print dialog is buggy.

This may be the same bug reported at opensolaris
  https://defect.opensolaris.org/bz/show_bug.cgi?id=13535
However, I am getting this bug with Lucid, so this presumably an upstream bug.

This bug was detected with Mon-Keytest, and the report page is linked below, I think all the required information is in this bug-report though.
