(Forwarded from the downstream bug at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-power-manager/+bug/569065 - see the duplicates for additional info)

"When I disconnect the power adapter from my laptop, I get a notification saying that I have less than 4% battery power remaining and that the system needs to be shut down, even though my battery is fully charged. Also, the battery icon looks like it's empty but if I open the battery info window, it shows up as being fully charged. The system doesn't shut down, only warns about it."

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all old bug reports in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.

If you can still reproduce this issue in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-power-manager/-/issues/

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
