Description David Ronis 2011-03-01 21:11:46 UTC
I'm running gcc-2.91.90 in a gnome-2.91.90 environment. One of the apps built is gnome-sound-applet. I've discovered 2 issues with it.

1. I'm running gnome-panel. When I alt-click on a panel and select "add to panel" gnome-sound-applet isn't one of the choices. (Perhaps it shouldn't be)

2. I can run g-s-a from a console and get the sound icon in the notification area.
I can set the sound level by clicking on the icon and dragging the slider; however, the next time I click the icon, the slider moves to the top (100%). This doesn't happen 100% of the time.

gnome-sound-applet is not actually an applet; it is a binary that puts a statusicon in the notificatoin area.
Comment 2 Bastien Nocera 2011-04-12 23:21:33 UTC
As Matthias mentioned 1. doesn't apply, and 2. is already fixed in GNOME 3 proper.
