Description TommyC 2011-02-28 11:08:20 UTC
The system requirements and INSTALL file report that Python 2.4 is required for meld 1.5.0. After download and install meld reports that it requires Python 2.5 or higher.

[root@xxxxxx meld-1.5.0]# meld
Meld requires Python 2.5 or higher.

I can fix the INSTALL file easily enough, but what do you mean by 'documentation' and 'system requirements'? As far as I know, INSTALL is the only place we have that information.
Comment 2 Kai Willadsen 2011-03-01 15:48:18 UTC
I've just pushed a patch updating our requirements listed in INSTALL, so I'm closing this bug. If there is somewhere else you believe needs to be changed, feel free to reopen the bug.

Incidentally, if you need a version of Meld that will work with Python 2.4, Meld 1.4 should work fine.
