See attached picture; when I go into a menu the highlight makes it a bit taller, displacing the other widgets by 2px.

This still happens with 2.91.91 but hbons made me notice it only happens when the menu is opened via a keyboard mnemonic.

It happens for me when clicking on the menu item too. In gnome-panel it's even more annoying since it makes all applets and launchers to be resized when clicking on the menu bar applet.
