GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 639855
Connection Information window to refresh/reload
Last modified: 2020-11-12 14:29:50 UTC
Dear friends, I reported this in Ubuntu. Here's the reprint here: It would be nice if the Connection Information window (right click on nm-applet -> "Connection Information") would keep itself up to date. Currently, when connection is disconnected or addresses changed, etc., the datum in the Connection Information window stays the same, thus getting out of date, showing wrong information. I think that it would be more beneficial and less confusing to have this windows always display the correct information. The CI window should probably just listen to all the signals and handle dynamically reconfiguring the window based on what happens with NM. That's already done for a few different items in the window (wifi speed, for example).
