Description Shahar Or 2011-01-18 16:05:45 UTC
Dear friends,

I reported this in Ubuntu. Here's the reprint here:

It would be nice if the Connection Information window (right click on nm-applet -> "Connection Information") would keep itself up to date.

Currently, when connection is disconnected or addresses changed, etc., the datum in the Connection Information window stays the same, thus getting out of date, showing wrong information.

I think that it would be more beneficial and less confusing to have this windows always display the correct information.

Blessings,
Shahar

The CI window should probably just listen to all the signals and handle dynamically reconfiguring the window based on what happens with NM. That's already done for a few different items in the window (wifi speed, for example).

bugzilla.gnome.org is being shut down in favor of a GitLab instance.
We are closing all old bug reports and feature requests in GNOME Bugzilla which have not seen updates for a long time.

If you still use NetworkManager and if you still see this bug / want this feature in a recent and supported version of NetworkManager, then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/NetworkManager/NetworkManager/-/issues/

Thank you for creating this report and we are sorry it could not be implemented (workforce and time is unfortunately limited).
