Some fields (mainly dates) cannot  be filed in. After typing data, characters are displayed as squares (refer to original pdf form and harcopy when filling in the form)

I can't reproduce in evince 2.32.0 Using poppler/cairo (0.14.5), you mark evince 2.22 this is very  ancicent, please update this.

Please feel free to reopen this bug if the problem still occurs with a newer version of GNOME.
