Description Matěj Cepl 2010-12-10 16:22:05 UTC
I like that I can save screenshot directly to anything GIO covers (e.g., via sftp to the webserver where I have an account), but not everybody has access to webserver.

It would be even more neat, if I could save the image directly to image hosting services (e.g., imageshack, I don't know about free ones). It would probably require ability to create plugins for various webservices.

Also, when the image is saved, it would be nice if gnome-screenshot put into clipboard URL of the image it saved (or at least shown it in a way I could copy it to clipboard).

If we ever finish implementing nautilus-sendto for GNOME 3, we could implement this by adding a simple "Send to..." button in the gnome-screenshot save dialogue.
