Trace looks similar to bug 627395 one, but this trace seems to have better "quality"
Any news on this? Do you at least have an idea about this being a gnome-panel or quick-lounge issue? Thanks a lot :-)
Maybe Paolo (that looks to be quick-lounge maintainer) should be also notified about this since I am not sure it's a problem on gnome-panel or applet :-( Thanks a lot
I'm pretty sure this is not applet-specific as I'm having it happen to several applets, now including the clock. The fact that several applets started crashing around the same time in a similar way makes me think it's a gnome-panel bug.
Another thing, this bug seems to not always happen. It's always happening (since the update (Ubuntu 11.04 = gnome-panel 2.32.1)) to file-browser-applet and quick-lounge-applet, but only intermittently to "Show Desktop" and the clock, at least for me.
This issue also affects Ubuntu 11.04 "Natty" (when using GDM) and Mint 11 "Katya". See https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/quick-lounge-applet/+bug/772992
