GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 636158
Gnumeric fails to read or write pure data text styles to ODF
Last modified: 2010-11-30 22:49:50 UTC
new gnumeric format A1 with custom format: "pre" @ "post" enter x into A1 A1 shows "pre x post" save as ODF the created ODF file fails to contain a data styles representing the data style of cell A1.
This seems to be an issue in or below go_format_output_to_odf.
It turns out that we don't even get to go_format_output_to_odf, but if we were to get there then go_format_output_to_odf doesn't write the correct format anyways.
The goffice part of writing the format to ODF has been fixed. What is left: (a) to correctly write the string content (b) to correctly read the format These are Gnumeric issues.
This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
