Python 2.7 has been out for a good few months now and is the only 2.x supported version.
It would be really helpful to provide an installer (or at least build files) for it.

When I tried to build it with Visual Studio 9, I had to fix a bunch of libraries that were misnamed in the project file: the glib-2.0D.lib and a bunch more had libfoo.lib (unix style) instead of foo.lib

Eventually the build went a little further, but it still failed with:

gstmodule.obj : error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol
_pygst_add_constants referenced in function _init_gst
}}}

There are binaries provided by the GStreamer SDK now
