Description Travis Reitter 2010-11-05 00:38:30 UTC
Vala 0.11.x breaks some compatibility (some of which is unintentional) with the 0.10.x series, which Folks currently builds against.
Comment 1 Guillaume Desmottes 2010-11-08 09:04:20 UTC
Could that be the reason why folks 0.13.1 doesn't build in the PPA?

That seems like an unrelated problem. I think I've seen that once before, but it was a very long time ago, and I'm pretty sure it was only an issue with vala git master (not an actual release).
Comment 3 Travis Reitter 2010-11-08 18:36:17 UTC
It seems that the breaks in 0.11.x turned out to just be a couple bugs (now fixed) and enforcement of some deprecations.

So I've fixed the issues without having to bump our required version of Vala.
