running evince 2.30.3-0ubuntu1.1 in lucid here.

1) download http://www.bhw.de/content/Service/FormularCenter/D_135_a_%28mL%29.pdf
2) open the file in evince
3) input some text in the field below "Vertragsnummer" and leave the field

The text displays at about half the width it should be (see attached screenshot)

I tested this PDF with both evince and Adobe Reader 9 on Linux (Ubuntu 10.10) to see if text would be entered properly on Adobe Reader, but improperly on evince.  But this PDF displayed half-width text in both programs.

It seems the PDF is no longer available in that website.

Do you have a copy of the PDF to attach it in this bug report?

I'm sorry, I did not save a copy of the PDF.  I tried a few other PDFs available from the website now but was unable to reproduce the issue.  I'll close the ticket and report a new one if ever I come across it again.
