GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 632465
Banshee misses some files during import
Last modified: 2010-10-19 10:26:40 UTC
Created attachment 172611 [details] Debug Log When importing a folder of music tracks banshee sometimes skips a file, it also sometimes creates 2 entries in the library for a particular file (although it doesn't create a second file)on the disk. A picture is worth a thousand words so here is a screenshot of the folder containing the files: http://ubuntuone.com/p/Kzz/ And here's one of the resultant library: http://ubuntuone.com/p/Kzx/ Notice how tracks 3 and 9 are duplicated, and tracks 12 and 14 are missing completely. Rescanning the library gets rid of the duplicates, but it doesn't add track 12 or 14 to the library as tracks 12 and 14 haven't been copied to the ~/Music folder at all.
Any chance you can retest a version with this commit? I believe it may fix this issue. http://git.gnome.org/browse/banshee/commit/?id=aa40b95bf04ce2c89be391d34c19aec0850bba1e
Have retested with latest git and I have unable to recreate the issue. So it's safe to assume it has fixed the issue. Thanks.
