When executing banshee-1 --set-rating=2 (or any other rating) then I get an System.AgrumentNullException:
Unhandled Exception: System.ArgumentNullException: Cannot handle a null message; maybe the bus was disconnected

The running banshee playback instance reports nothing unusual...
