OS X 10.6.4
GnuCash 2.3.15.3

Description:

To reproduce:
I have a VISA account under Liabilities with several transactions.
New transaction - enter data in Date and Description fields and tab to Transfer field. Start typing and select an account from the drop down. Then press : and type the name of a non-existent account. Create new account when prompted. Close the new account window. Complete the current transaction and use Tab or Enter to create a new transaction but new line is not opened up and cursor stays in current transaction.
