Draft DMCA Policy

As there will be public notices that could potential provide infringing content, there should be a way for someone to file a DMCA takedown notice.

See attached draft language (adapted from http://creativecommons.org/dmca which is available under a CC:BY license).

It is in ODT right now, but other versions can be supplied.
Comment 1 Greg Grossmeier 2010-10-04 03:45:26 UTC
I should have said that this was adapted to say "The GNOME Foundation" but can easily be written with just "Tomboy Online." Just depends on what the legal team/foundation wants.
Comment 2 Sandy Armstrong 2010-10-04 04:10:03 UTC
Great point, thanks Greg. I'll look at this and the privacy policy as soon as I can.

Snowy has not seen any code changes since October 2011:
https://git.gnome.org/browse/archive/snowy

This project is not under active development anymore and got recently archived
in GNOME Git.
It is currently unlikely that there will be any further active development.

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this bug report in the future if anyone
takes the responsibility for active development again.
