Description Joe Sylvester 2010-09-26 20:38:48 UTC
The position of the dividing line between the mail headers and mail text is not saved over a reboot in Evolution Mail, version 2.30.3 running under Ubuntu 10.0.4.1. This is the View->Preview Classic mode with Show Message Preview option checked. I have to reset the line position after a reboot. It seems to mainly occur when Evolution is running when the reboot is started. I have not verified this extensively when Evolution is closed prior to reboot, but it did not seem to matter.

Thanks for a bug report. This might be related to bug #561586 and bug #555125, though you claim it doesn't work for you with 2.30.3.
From bug #561586 comment #6, by any chance, do you use Evolution with a maximized window? User from that comment said that work for him if the window isn't maximized.

Anyway, I just found a bug where this was supposed to address this, it is bug #608203, so I'm marking this bug report as a duplicate of it.

Yes, I use Evolution with a maximized window. I will try it unmaximized to see if there is any differnce for me, and report back.

I have rebooted several times with Evolution actiuve with a window that has not been maximized, and the position of the dividing line is saved over a reboot.
