Description Martin Schaaf 2010-09-18 11:16:13 UTC
I lost some songs in my database through a harddisk crash. To find out what songs I lost I opened rhythmbox and looked at the view with the missing files. I opened there the properties view and let it open. Then I copied the missing song through nautilus. Then rhythmbox freezes and crashed.

Steps to reproduce:

1. remove a song outside of rhythmbox
2. open rhythmbox
3. open view of missing files
4. open properties window of the missing file
5. let it open
6. copy the file with nautilus to the original place

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
Without a stack trace from the crash it's very hard to determine what caused it.
Can you get us a stack trace? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so. Thanks in advance!

If I follow the chain the chain of duplicates it seems that this bug is resolved. But the other bug reports are very old. Is it now resolved or not?

Bug #615750 which that bug was marked a duplicate of is still open, see https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=527898#c19 too
