This is with evince 2.31.92 and gobject-introspection 0.9.5:

  GEN    EvinceDocument-2.32.gir
ERROR: Option --strip-prefix has been replaced;
see --identifier-prefix and --symbol-prefix.

The state of g-i on 2-32 isn't really clear yet, see this thread on the ML:
http://mail.gnome.org/archives/release-team/2010-September/msg00019.html about whether to stay on < 0.9.5 or update to 0.9.5...

I suggest we just disable introspection on 2-32. Or are there any users of it out there?

It's disabled by default indeed, I'm not sure even if it works anyway, since there a lot of API doc comments missing.

Seems to work fine here on F17. Is this still an issue on evince 3.4 ? If not, please close this bug.
