Description Paul Dickson 2010-09-04 07:59:24 UTC
I have some PDF ebooks and I would like evince to save the last page I read when I go to other books and the come back. I would also like to able to come back to the same view/page that I have bookmarked.

The view is what was displayed when the bookmark was save or evince was closed, which may not be the same as the page.

Yes, please -- my friend and I were both browsing the same 700+ page textbook, he on his Mac (using Preview, I think it's called), and I using Evince in Ubuntu on my Thinkpad. I had some major feature envy when he showed me he could set bookmarks in the various chapters.

Also, I think this is a duplicate of Bug 590655 -- I guess a maintainer has to make that change though? (sorry, I'm a Gnome Bugzilla n00b)
