GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 627870
Floated letters in sound preferences dialog (russian translation)
Last modified: 2012-01-06 14:24:57 UTC
As you can see in the attached screenshot, two labels of text are not separated. I suspect this is not the russian translation fault, but rather gnome-volume-control which should put some space between the two labels. This bug was originally reported on Launchpad: https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu-translations/+bug/622622

They step on each because they're too long... Looks like a GTK+ bug to me, but I'm not sure what it should be doing there. Making sure that the slider can't be small enough for the labels to overstep each is my best guess.

Mohamed: There is no "Normal level" string anymore nowadays (GNOME 3.2), instead this is: #: ../panels/sound/gvc-channel-bar.c:607 msgctxt "volume" msgid "Unamplified" msgstr "Без усиления" Is this still a problem or can this be closed as OBSOLETE?

@André: Yes, I think you can close this as OBSOLETE.
As per comment 6, done.
