GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 626898
should not automatically remove passwords, once a login to a mail server didn't work
Last modified: 2010-09-10 13:20:32 UTC
Hi. Evolution seems to remove stored passwords, once a login to a mailserver failed. It is for some crappy free mail providers not uncommon, to enforce a minimum period in which email retrival via e.g. pop is allowed. If it happened to soon, the mail server gives an error,... and evolution removes the password, which is totally unnecessary. Evolution should ask, whether a password should be cleared. Cheers, Chris.
