Manado and Cebu missing in clock applet (details provided)
Last modified: 2021-06-09 21:04:36 UTC
I realized Manado, capital of the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia and an international airport, does not yet show up as a choice in the clock applet; Coordinates are 1°29′35″N 124°50′29″E / 1.49306°N 124.84139°E according to Wikipedia [ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manado ]. Timezone is WITA / UTC +8 according to timeanddate.com [ http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/timezone.html?n=555 ] Similarily, Cebu at 10° 25′ 35″ N, 123° 47′ 53″ O according to Wikipedia and is an international airport as well, even served out of Qatar: [ http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cebu ] and UTC +8 / PHT [ http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/timezone.html?n=1238 ]
Hello, The ICAO code for Masbate airport doesn't seem to coincide with other sources. In /usr/share/libgweather/Locations.xml it is listed with code of RPVM. I understand this is the unique ICAO code for airports that are registered under its database. However, I looked it up and got RPVJ. For example, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mactan-Cebu_International_Airport http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masbate_Airport and mapping.com search for Cebu and Masbate have the same results for wikipedia.org, which is RPVM and RPVJ, respectively. Cebu City is one of the major cities in the Philippines and the biggest and most densely populated in its region (Visayas). It is also among the few cities that has an international airport in this country. Name: Mactan-Cebu International Airport Coordinates: 10°18′48″N, 123°58′58″E (10.313333, 123.982778) IATA: CEB ICAO: RPVM
