Description Ian Mackinnon 2010-08-04 21:53:22 UTC
# Please describe the problem

Merged cells, whose lowest-number/letter cell lies entirely within the window do not trigger a vertical or horizontal scroll on entry, though their contents may lie entirely out of view.

# Steps to reproduce

- Merge the lowest cell that lies entirely within view with its neighbour below
- Extend the merged cell's height downward a little
- Enter a few numbers or letters in the merged cell
- Select cell A1
- Move down until the merged cell is entered.

# Actual results

The cell is selected, but it's contents lie below the visible area.

# Expected results

It would be nice to see the whole merged cell

# Does this happen every time?

Yes, and horizontally as well as vertically.
