Downstream bug report about the same from 2.32.2:

Similar steps:
1. Open Evolution
2. Go to the tasks using the button at the bottom
3. Enter a new task
4. Click close and select save

I tried to reproduce this, but no luck. Could you try to provide more detailed steps, please?
