GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 622841
Heading navigation does not read the entire heading if there are links
Last modified: 2011-08-01 09:12:34 UTC
When navigating web pages like slashdot.org, we hear headings announced as "Plus link heading level 3". The rest of heading text is not read. I think this is well understood by Joanmarie, so this bug is just being filed to keep track of this issue.
Given everything else on the to-do list, non-critical Gecko-related bugs are going to have to wait until after 3.0, unless someone volunteers to do them. If someone volunteers, I'd be happy to nudge them in the right directions; otherwise, I'll pick this back up after 3.0.
This seems to work for me with the current firefox nightly.
SEEMS LIKE SLASHDOT.ORG HAS CHANGED THERE MARKUP, i CAN REPRODUCE WITH EITHER A FIREFOX NIGHTLY OR 3.5 i ALSO WROTE A TEST CONTAINING
FOO BAR BAZ
WHICH WORKED IN BOTH
If you can please create a small test case and attach it to the bug.
