The frontpage of the 1.7.1 PDF documentation states "(C) 1997-2007".

However 1.7.1 was released in 2010.

This bug was previously marked ASSIGNED, which means it should be fixed in
doxygen version 1.7.2. Please verify if this is indeed the case. Reopen the
bug if you think it is not fixed and please include any additional information
that you think can be relevant.

The frontpage is fixed, however I just saw the footnotes in the 1.7.2 documentation look as follows:

"User Manual for Doxygen 1.7.2, written by Dimitri van Heesch (c) 1997-2006"

A minor inconsistency remains in 1.7.3.

The frontpage states "1997-2011" and the footer says "1997-2010". Since 1.7.3 was released in 2011, the frontpage is correct.

Indeed. Will be corrected in the next update. I'll keep the bug's status to resolved as it is only a very minor issue.
