Description Nick Jenkins 2010-06-25 02:49:54 UTC
Currently Evolution will recover/reopen any draft email windows after a crash (which is part of the app state, and a great start), but not the other parts of the app's state. This includes:
* open read-emails (i.e. non-draft email windows).
* open and/or unsaved calendar windows.
* open and/or unsaved task windows.
* open and/or unsaved memo windows.

It would be fantastic if Evo could restore all open windows on reopening after a crash.

Note: included the [meta] notation since this is such a large request, and it could be separated into discrete enhancement requests. For example, bug 548332 covers restoring unsaved tasks.

GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new enhancement request ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
