select A1:C3
type "Hello" and format the "ell" part to have an underline
ctrl-enter
the text "Hello" is as expected entered in each of the cells A1:C3 but does not have any of the formatting.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
