Description pierre fermat 2010-06-22 21:04:37 UTC
gnome-mouse-properties provide basic configuration of mouse, but
gpointing-devies-settings provide specific/fine grained control of features
like palm detection etc while duplicating some features of
gnome-mouse-properties. these two apps need to be integrated into one mouse
configuration tool which has a super-set of the functionalities provided in
both. I discovered this issue while trying to figure out how to enable palm
detection for my laptop, when the mouse settings did have any such features.
