GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 621336
Incorrect ordering of currencies in non-C locales
Last modified: 2010-06-12 01:03:15 UTC
In (some) non-C locales the currency listing in the format dialog may be incorrectly ordered. For example in de_DE.UTF-8, Ägypti... is at the end of the listing rather than sorted with A.... Since the listing is rather long this could make it difficult for a user to find those mis-ordered items.
funny_currency_order in go-format-sel.c
funny_currency_order uses strcmp... that doesn't know anything about locales.
This problem has been fixed in our software repository. The fix will go into the next software release. Thank you for your bug report.
