GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 619194
Redundancy in the "Move To" sub-menu in Nautilus
Last modified: 2012-08-01 14:37:11 UTC
In Ubuntu Lucid Navneeth Chandrasekaran reported: In Lucid I see a new sub-menu called "Move To" when I right click on a folder or a file. By default the menu contains two options, namely Home Folder and Desktop, and if I am working within a Nautilus window, there is another option for moving it to the "Other pane," which is disabled by if a second pane is not open. Now, why have the Desktop and Home Folder options enabled when you are working in the Desktop or within Home, respectively? Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. However, you are using a version that is too old and not supported anymore. GNOME developers are no longer working on that version, so unfortunately there will not be any bug fixes for the version that you use. By upgrading to a newer version of GNOME you could receive bug fixes and new functionality. You may need to upgrade your Linux distribution to obtain a newer version of GNOME. Please feel free to reopen this bug if the problem still occurs with a newer version of GNOME.
