Linux resets Huawei E220 3G USB modem as soon as the storage is accessed

Hi, After open a bug report for Debian and made various tests guided by a Debian maintainer, I post a bug report here. It seems there is a problem of interaction between Nautilus and the kernel. When Nautilus scan the devices, the kernel resets the Huawei E220 3G USB modem. This occurs loop, which prevents the network connection. I do not know if the problem comes from the kernel or Nautilus, but we must take the problem by a side. And there are error messages from the kernel. Yeah, looking at the logs this is either a kernel bug or devkit-disks, most likely. It's best to follow up with the kernel.org bug. I don't believe that NM has much to do with this. One way to figure that out is to move either /usr/sbin/modem-manager or /lib/udev/nm-modem-probe to some other location and then see if you still have the same problems. These will cause NetworkManager not to see the modem, but it will rule out any interference that NetworkManager/ModemManager might be causing.

Hi, I updated the firmware of the Huawei E220 with version 11.117.09.04.00, and the problems have been resolved. I can use Gnome and I connect to the Internet, I can browse the contents of the Huawei E220, and I am no longer obliged to throw twice Network-Manager to activate the network.
