new gnumeric
3 sheets
make sheets distinguishable by adding 1,2,3 in A1 of the 3 sheets respectively.
hide the second sheet (via the sheet manager)
new view

the new view shows the tab for the second sheet although selecting that tab does not show that sheet

This problem has been fixed in our software repository. The fix will go into the next software release. Thank you for your bug report.
