In Ubuntu Lucid dino99 reported: Lucid updated got numerous errors into .xsession and from console: libslab_get_gconf_value: error getting /desktop/gnome/applications/main-menu/lock-down/user_modifiable_apps Murrine configuration option "gradients" is no longer supported Murrine configuration option "profile" is no longer supported how to reproduce: select a theme and using tabs , choose your border & color look then validate this custom theme. That smells like a configuration/packaging issue in Ubuntu more than anything else, but libslab is a separate module anyways.
ubuntu doesn't use the system libslab but the g-c-c copy it's rather a gnome-control-center issue
Closing this bug report as gnome-main-menu is being ported to DBus/GSetting and dropping deprecated/obsoleted technologies such as GConf2.
