GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 616373
Calendar does not work
Last modified: 2010-04-30 10:21:57 UTC
Our Exchange Servers were upgraded to 2007 this last weekend and now I have pretty much lost all features I had with the evolution-exchange plugin. Going to log separate bugs for each issue I have. Please let me know what information you require to troubleshoot this problem. I am running Ubuntu 9.10 with following packages installed: evolution 2.28.1 evolution-mapi 0.28.2 Calendar does not pull through from exchange, when trying to create an appointment on that calendar i get this error: Unable to open the calendar 'Calendar'. When a meeting request comes to me I also cannot click on any of the buttons, they are greyed out. It's 2010 now, is this plugin ever going to work with exchange 2007? Thanks
evolution-exchange does not support 2007. Use evolution-mapi. Vagure meta report, closing as invalid. Please file separate issues.
Please re-read the bug carefully. States I am using evolution-mapi. I said that I lost the features I had with evolution-exchange as evolution-mapi just doesn't work at all.
(In reply to comment #1) > evolution-exchange does not support 2007. Use evolution-mapi. > > Vagure meta report, closing as invalid. Please file separate issues. Bump! Any response pls?
This is missing good and exact steps. :-/ See https://bugzilla.gnome.org/page.cgi?id=bug-writing.html
I have now upgraded to Ubuntu Lucid and the problem seems to be fixed. But I'd like to comment that my bug report was not really missing information. I'm not actually even sure what information is missing. Also what bugs me is that at 1st you said that evolution-exchange does not support 2007 when I was never talking about evolution-exchange and then you say I don't have enough information? Bit inconsistent there. Closing bug
I misinterpreted your first comment "lost all features I had with evolution-exchange".
