The logout icon is an exit sign. This does not fit with the grayish rest of the theme.

I assume you mean the green?
I haven't been a fan of the green myself either, but I also don't think it's that bad or inconsistent with the rest of the theme. It's not all grey.

The icons follow the tango style guidelines including the palette. Having them diverse in both silhouette and color is desirable.
