GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 615520
WebDAV doesn't filter charset from content-type
Last modified: 2010-09-05 21:24:39 UTC
Have a webserver with webdav that serves *.txt with content-type: text/plain; charset=utf-8 Mount webdav in nautilus. Try to open some text file, it'll say "There is no application installed for text/plain; charset=utf-8 type files" Right click and select properties, and look at the "Type" field, which says "text/plain; charset=utf-8 type (text/plain; charset=utf-8)"
Which distribution and version is this about?

(In reply to comment #1) > Which distribution Ubuntu 9.10 > and version is this about? 1.4.1-0ubuntu1 Here is the original bug report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gvfs/+bug/559721
This was filed against gnome-vfs and not gvfs. If this is still an issue in Ubuntu 10.04 feel free to file a new bug report. Thanks!
