CAMEL_DEBUG

Evolution keeps crashing after mails are marked as spam. This happens after two mails were tagged. This happens always if more than one e-mail is selected.

I've tried evolution 2.26.3 & 2.28.2 & 2.28.3.1

Distro is Gentoo Linux

find attached the gdb output (hope this is the right one) and the output of CAMEL_DEBUG=all evolution

It will be really helpful if you try in evolution 2.30.0 because 2.28.3 won't get any update here after.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
Unfortunately, that stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot
to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash.
Could you please install some debugging packages [1], start the application as
normal, and reproduce the crash, if possible?

Once bug-buddy pops up, you can find the stacktrace in the Details, now
containing way more information. Please copy that stacktrace and paste it as a
comment here. Thanks in advance!

[1] debugging packages for evolution, evolution-data-server, evolution-exchange, gtkhtml2, gtk2 and glib2 (as far as those packages are provided by your distribution). More details can be found here:

Hi there,

I've tried the most recent version of evolution available in gentoo.
Evolution now crashes if I trie to open the virtual folder "unread messages".

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
[Switching to Thread 0xb0203b70 (LWP 12484)]
0xb61c78e0 in em_format_snoop_type ()
   from /usr/lib/evolution/2.30/libemformat.so.0

Unfortunately I can't get any more information, bug buddy won't pop up :(
