GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 615096
Quality of flac flike changes from "Lossless" to "Unknown" when it has a (cover) image embedded
Last modified: 2011-07-18 12:55:04 UTC
I embed a cover image in music files using EasyTag (2.1.6 in Ubuntu 9.10). When this is done to flac files, the quality shown is no longer "Lossless" but "Unknown". Somehow the Picture Flac Vorbis Tag confuses the code that verifies the quality of a file. The flac files plays fine, it's only an aesthetic bug. This is a known problem with the way we identify media types.
Does this mean this a known issue (duplicate bug) or rather a feature that may or not be implemented in the future? Thanks, C.
This will be fixed at some point in the future.
This has been fixed at some point in the recent past.
