GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 613512
Create keyboard controls for overview
Last modified: 2010-05-17 15:50:05 UTC
I think the overview should be more controllable by the keyboard. You should be able to navigate through it with the arrow keys or tab.
After reporting this bug: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=611978 I realized that ctrl + alt + arrows (right, left) allow to control the workspaces switches in overlay mode. Super will activate selected workspace... (any sense "Enter" would activate it too? any sense allowing switch workspaces without ctrl + alt... only arrows?). A more coherent order in grid mode would make sense. I mean, having 9 workspaces, for example, ordered from left to right and top to bottom (1 to 9), if you start in workspace 1 and hit "right", the activation follows: 1, 2, 4, 5, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9. And activate up and down arrows would be nice... Both bugs duplicated?
duping to 618887, which is more specific/detailed *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 618887 ***
