Description Misha Shnurapet 2010-03-19 17:34:39 UTC
Files with no track number specified are stored on a mass storage media device like this:
. Title.mp3

Next time the device would be connected Banshee won't see the files because they turn hidden with that dot.

banshee-1.5.5-1.fc12.x86_64
banshee-musicbrainz-1.5.5-1.fc12.x86_64

Banshee should store the files on the player device naming them the same way it does for the media library. Naming routines work perfectly inside the library: it is either "%n. Title.mp3" with track number or "Title.mp3" when no track number specified.

This will be eventually fixed with bug 489861, see comments in bug 613108. Closing as a duplicate.

The duplicate bug was actually wrong, this is a duplicate of bug 634096, which
was fixed 7 months ago.

Misha, if you still see this bug in banshee 2.1.0 or newer, can you reopen bug
634096? Thanks!
