Description tekstr1der 2010-03-11 19:30:48 UTC
Initially reported in the following Launchpad bugs:

https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/533748
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/532179

Playing an album with embedded id3 album art results in the first-selected track displaying the album art properly in both the player and notify-osd, but when the end of the track is reached and a new one begins, the album art is not displayed in either area.

Manually selecting a different track always shows album art properly. It is only when the player changes tracks automatically that the album art is lost and replaced with generic icon.

Expected result: rhythmbox consistently displays embedded tag album art when a track is playing.

This is not a duplicate. If you read the description, it is showing the exact opposite behavior reported in bug 609651!
